Back to Climate Smart Utilities
IWA Climate Smart Utilities Programme has partnered with the World Bank’s NewIBNET platform to launch the Data Pioneers in Water Utilities Initiative. This initiative aims to support water and sanitation utilities in leveraging data to drive performance improvements, enhance service delivery, and foster a culture of transparency and accountability. With a particular focus on LMIC, the initiative empowers water and sanitation utilities, builds their capacity in data management, and supports peer to peer learning.
The Learning in Bangkok Initiative launched in April 2025 provides an opportunity for water and sanitation utilities, associations, and regulators to participate in the call for data on their performance and management and to learn at the IWA Water and Development Congress in Bangkok, Thailand, December 8-12.
